We are working to bring native apps to iOS and Android. In the meantime, you can add BrainBOK to your home screen from your mobile browser for a near-native app experience.

Can I use BrainBOK when I'm not connected to the internet?

BrainBOK requires an internet connection for most features. Some tools, such as the ITTO Explorer, may continue to function after the initial page load if you lose connectivity — but this is not guaranteed and depends on your browser and device. We recommend always using BrainBOK with a stable internet connection for the best experience.

Your email address is used to store all your data in BrainBOK. We do not allow users to change their email address.

However, in special circumstances (such as when you cannot access your email account), we can assist active subscribers to transfer their subscription to a new email address under the following conditions:

None of your data (exam history, flashcard bookmarks, quiz scores, or saved sessions) would be migrated. The new email account would start fresh with no previous data or history.

Subscription activation is instant. Your account is upgraded immediately after successful payment. In most cases, simply refreshing the page is sufficient to access your plan's features. You will also receive a payment receipt from Stripe via email.

How do I get a receipt for my subscription purchase?

Accepted Answer

We use Stripe for payment processing. The payment receipt email that you receive from Stripe is your official receipt for your BrainBOK subscription purchase.

Customers who need to have their contact details and tax reference numbers (VAT etc.) on the receipt can write to us and request a formal receipt.

Does my subscription expire exactly at midnight on the expiry date?

Accepted Answer

No. There's no guarantee that the subscription will expire exactly at midnight in your time zone. We have users around the world and we do not always have an accurate way to determine your time zone.

The subscription expiry date and time are calculated automatically by the system, accurate to the last millisecond.

For example, if you purchase a 90-day subscription at 5:30pm in US Pacific Time, it would expire exactly at 5:30pm Pacific Time, 90 days later (and will be adjusted accordingly for any daylight saving time). You can rest assured that you'll get exactly 90 days.
